The Most Expensive Chocolate in the World

As Uber brings you a collection of the world’s finest and most lavish things, it seems only right to feature the world’s most expensive chocolate - the La Madeline au Truffe (also known as La Chocopologie).

Each truffle consists of two layers, the casing is made of rich Valrhona dark chocolate, vanilla, truffle oil and cream. Within this shell lies a rare French Perigord truffle. The truffle is then dusted off with cocoa power. A single truffle costs $250 and approximately a pound in quantity would set you back $2,600.

The creator of this mouth-watering chocolate is Knipschildt Chocolatier. Since 1999 when it was first founded, Knipschildt has become an award-winning manufacturer of world-class chocolates. The company is also famed for its signature chocolates and artisan sauces.
