THE BEST START
For many parents, giving their children the best start in life means selecting a prep or pre-prep school leading on to Common Entrance Examination for entry into a secondary independent school. They believe the work ethos at an independent prep school builds the children’s confidence and creates a ‘can do’ attitude.
Many of the leading public schools have their own linked preparatory school, but if you would prefer to start your child at a prep school closer to home there is a wide choice of excellent individual schools.
Any school featured by Uber will give your child the very highest academic and extra-curricular education with exclusive pastoral care, but the character, feel and size of the school you choose all play an important part in making schooldays the happiest of their lives.

Paying for Public or Private?
Why public school, if it’s private?! The term 'public' was first adopted by Eton College and referred to the fact that the school was open to the paying public rather than only to members of a certain religion. Public schools are non-profit making organisations as opposed to private schools which are allowed to make a profit. So now we know!
