Fans of American designers Charles and Ray Eames will love Vitra products. When the company began to manufacture furniture in 1957 it was to produce designs by this couple, celebrated in the architectural world for their innovative fast-build Eames House using industrial steel parts. Although Vitra now has furniture by several designers on its books, the Eames influence still plays a large part. The industrial look is present in many of the company's products and everything is designed to follow the tradition of classic styling that will not date, using the highest grade of materials to back up the longevity aim.
